We all came out of emptiness.

In order to return to emptiness we should get rid of all we have,
That place is not just empty but could be filled up.

The vacuum or the void, they are vacant.
The void is just nothing.
The vacuum state is hollow but has the potential to fill up the nothingness,
and also its own will.
Having such energy is the vacuum state.

We came out of a vacuum(of the potential emptiness), not from the void.
For each of us has come out of the vacuum state and become real with his own will;
the void is not where we return to.
For we continue our way back to the vacuum(to the potential emptiness),
we should get rid of everything along with us.

After having said the essence (of practice) I have been trying to be out of teaching.
I have announced my retirement several times; however, I still haven't put an end to  teaching.
For you can not even make your way to the mountain.

It is too vague.
You think Seongye(the Universe) is somewhere far away.
In fact, it is just right here. For example, Mt. Danwha is Seongye.

As it is too far, the way to get there seems too far.
It is, however, close to you.
Nearby, it is right here at Mt. Danwha.
You need to discover it.  

However, coming up this far in itself is very difficult.
You are proud of yourself for being able to arrive here fighting against all odds.
Shortly after you have finished your assignment, you continue to hurry your way back.
(She smiles)
Because in a flash the traffic is congested.
You become too exhausted on the way here even though you left your treasure.
And on going home also you worry about the way and try to rush out of here.
This is what the trainees' level is now.
You just leave the treasures and pass them over. 

From then on, you will be unable to practice with the power of Gi energy.
People at a certain level train themselves with Gi energy.

At the beginning, Daejucheon(a training method to receive Universe energy) had been authorized to those achieving 30-40 points.
It was very hard. 
People who come here now are pushed up forward by the Gi energy

Upon getting into level two (at 100 points), your training becomes visible.
It becomes so distinctive that you can see the result of your practice.

I went through all three phases at the same time.
Understanding of Gi(level 1), mastering of Gi(level 2), practical use of Gi(level 3); all three steps were mixed up in the study of my practice.
Hence, at a certain level I studied these three altogether. 
It is clear for you now. 

The most distressing part is to drift to the stage of mastering of Gi from the stage of understanding of Gi.
With ease you will reach the stage of practice use of Gi.
Sufferings will come when you proceed to Junggak (Intermediary Stage of Enlightenment) from Jogak (Initial Stage of Enlightenment).
It is like a camel going through the eye of a needle.  

You have to go empty-handed that much.
Nothing is to be skimmed over.
Every single one is to be examined.

At the Jogak (Initial Stage of Enlightenment), you solve your karma with Gi energy.
At Junggak, you release it through your mind.

Mind is to be voided.
Then things go the other way.
A person who rids himself fast, advances faster; if not, just step by step.
When eliminating all you have at once you could arrive there straight forward.

Upon going up to Junggak from the Initial Stage of Enlightenment,
it can not be put in words. You are not able to know.
You know nothing before the result comes out.
Nothing can possibly be expressible.
You feel like you are floating over the boundless ocean.
No language can explain that.

Seongye gives marks and sanction. Only these are what become visible.
Before they let you know of the score, you know nothing.

Seongye sees virtues and vices.
What remains after adding up the wrongs and virtues you have done will be your score.
It becomes matter when you do not realize what misdeeds you have done.

The Initial Stage of Enlightenment means to know about your self exactly.
You make continuous errors for you are unaware of yourself.
You are ignorant about your self.
As you are insensitive of your self you only accept things favourable to you.

Knowing about your mind is Junggak.
Knowing about the Universe is the stage of Jonggak (Ultimate Enlightenment).

Upon advancing to the stage of Junggak from the Initial Stage of Enlightenment,
Gi energy is not everything. Gi energy is only a tool.
The essence(original) is your mind.
Gi energy, that moves as your mind wishes, is a tool.

The original is mind; however the body can not catch up with it.

Your mind is heading for the Study of Mind (Shimbeup) and you know mind moves the Universe.
Your body, however, can not come along with it.
For example, you are not to be enveloped in sexual or worldly desires.
Action should be accompanied with it.

How should you cultivate your mind?
Should you not attain it, you will stay as your are.
