A. When you have a container almost empty of rice, if you keep scooping out bowl after bowl and giving rice to your neighbors, you can't avoid getting poor. It is not a matter of your selfishness, but a matter of means. You can say, "I will share some with you when my living condition gets better" or you can say, "Let's starve together." In fact, this is a matter of philosophy.
Those who are following the Suseonjae path usually like to practice alone up to a certain level, until they reach the level where they feel satisfied. While doing this, they may seem cold-hearted or selfish to the people around them.
