The more your suryeon(practice) progresses, the more care you must take of your behavior. As your conscience grows clearer, little affairs will be on your conscience. The agony caused by the little affairs will weigh on your mind as heavily as having done big things wrongly before.
Suryeon is wiping out those agonies so that you learn not to have them on your mind. And the process of wiping them out should move toward a positive direction. When your mind is pure, everything around you will become pure of itself. It is only you that can keep your mind pure.
In order to achieve a greater goal, a greater awakening, you need to sacrifice yourself more. This sacrifice means that you should reduce those which you would like to do for the sake of suryeon. This process is also called asceticism. Asceticism is necessary at some point.
If asceticism is not the only way to get rid of your desires for certain things, you can make use of other methods to make yourself free of such mind or desires. Suryeon is not always hard to do. Suryeon is always an advance toward joy. Always keep your mind joyous, and everything will feel joyous to you.
Yes, I will.
